Epilepsy

Epilepsie

The term „Epilepsy“ does not refer to a uniform disease entity. It may occur at all ages (very young and very old), which has been taken into account by modern classification. The Greeks regarded epilepsy as a holy disease, while the famous Russian writer Fjodor Dostojewski has perpetuated epilepsy in his novel of the Idiot.
The fright of Epilepsy has been attenuated by modern pharmacotherapy. Not without adverse events, but this applies to all therapies.
We provide professional consultation and treatment, also with regard to child bearing and pregnancy --- including modern electrophysiology (e.g. EEG).
